May Allah bless us all. I joined Brahmanbaria Medical College at the beginning in 2013. I thank and congratulate Dr. Md. Abu Sayed, the Founder Chairman of the college for this noble thinking to establish a medical college here in Brahmanbaria. This has created an opportunity for the students of this area to study Medicine and fulfill their dream to be doctor and serve the ailing humanity.

For this challenging job I sort co-operation, help and blessing of the college authority, teachers and staffs of the college. I can assure my students and respected guardians that. I with my experienced teachers and staffs will be able to guide our students in a power way to build them as a good citizen and doctor to lead the nation in future. If we all remain sincere, committed and united it will be easy to achieve and reach the target.

Welcome to Brahmanbaria Medical College

Brahmanbaria Medical College, located in Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila, Bangladesh, was established in 2013 with a mission to deliver quality medical education and healthcare services. The college is affiliated with the University of Chittagong and recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Medical Council of India (MCI)​​.

The MBBS program at Brahmanbaria Medical College is a five-year course followed by a one-year mandatory internship. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in medical sciences, with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The college offers modern facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and advanced clinical training tools​​.

Clinical training is a significant part of the education at Brahmanbaria Medical College. The college is affiliated with a 250-bed teaching hospital, soon to be expanded to 400 beds, where students gain hands-on experience in various medical fields, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, and more​​.

The college has separate hostel facilities for male and female students, and international students are welcomed, with about 25% of the student body being from abroad. The medium of instruction is English​​.

For admission, students must meet eligibility criteria, including academic performance in their secondary and higher secondary examinations, and pass an admission test. The total fee for the MBBS program is approximately $36,000, including tuition and hostel fees​​.
