The student's guardian will also be informed of the actions taken.

3. Compliance with External Regulations: Students must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by Chittagong Medical University, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

4. Appeals and Legal Matters: Decisions made by the Academic and Disciplinary Body are final. Appeals are not accepted, and disputes cannot be taken to any court of law.

1. Order and Quietness: Students are expected to maintain order and quietness on campus. Grouping, political activities, or any actions that undermine the institution or state are prohibited.

2. Smoking and Drug Use: Smoking is strictly prohibited within college premises. Addiction to drugs or narcotics is forbidden and will result in severe disciplinary measures.

3. Communication with the Principal: Students must address the Principal through individual letters. Joint applications are not allowed.

4. Addressing Problems: Students facing issues within the college or hostel should apply to the Principal through the proper channels.

Attendance Policy

1. Punctuality: Students must attend all lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and clinical classes punctually. Attendance will be recorded, and absences will be noted.

2. Minimum Attendance Requirement: Students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in lectures, tutorials, practicals, and ward placements. Those falling below this threshold will be ineligible to sit for university examinations and will need to fulfill attendance requirements before being allowed to sit for exams.

Leave and Vacation Policy

1. Permission for Leaving Campus: Students must obtain prior permission from the Principal before leaving the college campus. Unauthorized absence may result in disciplinary action.

2. Absence and Striking Off: Students who remain absent from classes or the campus for more than 8 consecutive weeks without permission will have their names struck off the college roll.

3. Working Days and Holidays: The college and hospital operate from Saturday to Thursday, with Friday as a holiday. The annual list of holidays is announced at the beginning of each year. Vacation is not a right but may be granted in emergencies. Students will be responsible for any academic deficiencies resulting from leave.

Dress Code

1. Dress Requirements: Students must wear appropriate attire for lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and hospital duties.

  • For Boys: Loose shirts, formal pants, properly laced shoes, and aprons.
  • For Ladies: Salwar kameez, dupatta, and apron.
